The Riveting World of Raptors
Did you know owls, eagles, hawks, falcons & even the occassional osprey can all be seen right here at VanDusen Botanical Gardens? As a biodiversity hotpsot in the city, this urban oasis provides habitat and hunting grounds for a number of riveting raptors.
Join us in the Garden for this exciting Family Nature Program on Saturday, June 24th from 1:30pm – 4pm focused on these amazingly adapted top predators of the skies. Meet special guest educators and live birds from the Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (O.W.L) in a 1hr presentation and then take a guided walk to learn more about the raptor species that frequent the Garden!
