Chirigir-e Paper Art at VanDusen Library’s Roberta Mickelson Gallery is a cross section of paintings from artist and musician Leanne Lai.
Twenty-one years ago, she began learning a Japanese artform called Chigiri-e—using hand-dyed paper (washi) to make pictures—and has studied under several masters in Taiwan.
